Multimodal AI generation?

1. Professional visual direction skills
   Develop the ability to brief, guide, and refine AI-generated visuals using structured intent, references, and iteration — aligned with industry creative workflows.

2. Production-ready AI workflows
   Apply AI tools such as OpenArt to support marketing, animation, and video production processes, from concept development to final deliverables.

3. Commercially deployable AI capabilities
   Use AI as a marketing assistant, animation assistant, and production problem-solver to build client-ready assets from scratch, while operating within legal, ethical, and professional boundaries.

Me and MAGES School of Excellence

Our collaboration began in 2017, long before AI-assisted creation and multimodal workflows became mainstream.

Since then, hundreds of students — including Creative Directors, Designers, Film Editors, and serious enthusiasts — have gone through our Motion Design Production Techniques programme, our first collaborative product. The course was designed and delivered by me, an active industry practitioner and professional trainer, grounded in real production experience and professional workflows — not just theory or button-pushing.

Today, we’re taking the next step forward with our second collaborative offering: the Multimodal AI Creation course.

This new programme builds on the same professional foundations, expanding beyond motion design to integrate generative AI, visual creation, and storytelling into a single, practical workflow. It’s designed to help creators work faster, think smarter, and explore new creative possibilities — while maintaining professional standards.

Who can join?

Anyone interested in serious Ai generation. If you are just in it for some basics and fun, stay tuned for i'm about to launch 2 other lighter modules in March.

What software is taught?

We focus on Open Art as our primary multimodal platform.
Think of it as a gathering of all the worlds best in class ai models waiting to be explored.

How does AI help storytelling?

We used to teach people to storyboard the traditional way but with the advent of AI, students who lack in the areas of drawing can easily level the playing field in terms of rapid prototyping and concept planning.

When is the last course run?

Our first module will launch in 11 April 2026

Is there a portfolio project?

Yes, you’ll create a polished portfolio piece combining all your skills.

So are you MAGEs or Spark Social Lab?

BOTH! I am NOT a stake holder at MAGEs but I do have a level of ownership on the Motion Design module. This module is a 24 hour course split over 3 days.

It intensely covers all aspects of ai generation for you to produce commercial worthy products by the end of the module. Perfect for business owners and side hustlers who want to learn a professional skill.

So you still sign through MAGEs and their wonderful student management team will take care of the rest.

Spark Social Lab is still working towards getting Skills Future partnership and current only offers bespoke corporate training masterclasses.
